Adoption is a life changing decision. Whether this decision is an easy decision or the most challenging, it is a complex and selfless choice. Every birth mother has a unique experience and story. I provide counseling throughout the adoption process to navigate the emotional impacts of adoption, grief and loss, and other common challenges for expectant mothers.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of Utah. I received my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2016, from East Tennessee State University.
I strive to provide a supportive environment that allows for the client to explore their own emotions and learn skills to help cope with trauma, depression, and anxieties. I utilize an eclectic approach to counseling. I believe that every client has a unique set of needs; and I often use a client centered and cognitive behavioral approach to obtain the results best suited to meet the needs of each client.
